Title: Anyone using the Benchmark?
Post by: thedjs on February 22, 2012, 01:09:57 PM
If so, how does it work for medium conditons?  Are you using it with the box finish or a different surface.  Would it be a good ball to fit below something like a Mission X but still be stronger than a Freeze or Cyclone?

Thanks for the help.

The Benchmark is a good ball for medium conditions, I currently have mine with a pin above bridge drilling and the cover at a 3000 grit to give me more ontrol on the over/under conditions of our THS.  It will be a good fit under the Mission X and will definitely be more ball than the Freeze.

I use this ball OOB, and it's a good ball.  I get a very consistent read on the lanes and can stay with in on the first 2 games on fresh oil (not heavy), but gotta put it away after that.  For me, it's a "middle of the road" ball, meaning it wouldn't be strong enough for very heavy oil, but too strong when the lanes dry up.

I know it sounds like I'm in denial, but I'm not.
