Is the Throttle Columbia's BIGGEST hooking Oil ball?
« on: January 05, 2004, 11:47:18 AM »
Title says it.

I've heard that this is their BIGGEST hooking ball in the last 5 years... but I want to hear from some of you that have thrown it or seen it thrown.

As far as Length, Backend, and Oil handling capabilities... how does the Throttle compare to the Reaction ARC and Reaction ROLL???

I've got to get me a good Heavy Oil ball that hooks!!! I've not really had any success with other Heavy Oil balls like the Phenom, Super freak, or Reaction Arc... so I'm hoping that the Throttle will hook a bit more than these balls!!!

PSS... Didn't Columbia say that when they created this ball, that they designed it with like bigger sized particles or a lighter load or something like that, that would make it NOT die of PARTICLE DEATH so quickly??? What was it that they said?

But, in your last post it seems like you love the carbide bomb, so why not get that ball, or continue using that ball?

breezyjr,

Well, that's exactly what I'm doing! I just recently got the Super Carbide Bomb and it is so much ball, that I actually classify it as a true Heavy Oil ball!

So now I'm using it as my "Go-To" ball in one of my leagues that always has a FLOODED shot.
