Back Yard Bully?
« on: February 13, 2006, 05:53:47 AM »
I started bowling about 6 months ago and i started with a columbia hyde. I would like to stick with comlumbia but the hyde just isnt cutting it enough for me. I want a ball with way more hook and that hits hard.Is the back yard bully the way to go? Leave me some advice please!

Do you want earlier or more backend? or both for that matter? I'm not sure if the Backyard will be earlier than the Hyde but I know it will have more backend on it.

Im looking for a ball that has a late but strong hook. I want it to snap at the backend.

The Backyard will do just that. It's pretty strong on the backend but easily tamed down with hand adjustments. It's overall a pretty versatile ball. Other balls you may want to look into are the: PowerDrive, U-Turn Pearl, Action Packed. All should provide what your looking for. Exception maybe being the Action Packed, it may be stronger than the Hyde both ways. Not 100% though.
