Ball Help
« on: December 28, 2006, 04:57:08 AM »
Which ball is the best for me...

I bowl about 11-12 mphs.. stroker shooting around 2nd and 3rd arrow.. I currently throw a Pain and Smoking Inferno..I struggle in heavy oil.. and was looking into a Columbia ball.. What is the best for my type of style and for fresh-heavy oil patterns?

Action MAX if you want a high end ball, Power Drive Sanded if you want the best hook for your dollar...

For 225...congratulations..that is the highest average for an 11 mph thrower I have ever seen!

Any ball will work on heavy oil at 11 to 12 mph!

For Jonny_Master of all leagues and then some!  I mean it!

I have not seen your comments on the Power Drive Sanded versus Action Max before?
Could you elaborate a little?  Also...How does the Power Drive Sanded compare to the either Formula or the Uturn Particle.  Both of which to me...seemed to have a very controlled backend!  More backend?

With that low of a ball speed I would say a Wrath SF with some surface pin down drill maybe 4 x 4 with NO hole.  If you go with to low of an RG the ball will hit like moosh because of the low ball speed.  You can also look into a HyJinx with a stronger drill with a low hole and some surface.  Good luck.
