Who's still using the Uturn Pearl, and for what condition?

Just wondering if this ball found a permanent or only temporary place in YOUR bag.  If you do still use it, what do you use it for primarily?

Great Meduim light ball.  I use this ball quite often.  My highest series of 718 came with this ball right befor thankgiving.  Drilled for length pin just left of ring finger layout is a A2 on columbia drilling sheet.  Normally I use this ball for when the heads start drying out and need a bit more length before the breakpoint.

Can this ball handle any oil at all?  I have one and am considering just bringing one ball to leagues to work on my mechanics rather than switching balls.  Would the Uturn Pearl work for this on a fresh, medium house block?

I think it will be fine a fresh medium shot. I have mine with the pin below the ring and the CG stacked. Mine does well on this pattern....

I also use a U-turn pearl.  With mine drilled pin at ring finger Cg kicked 1/2 in.  in box condition it tend to go to long.  But sanded to 320 and polished with black magic it works well.  I have to be careful of speed.

this ball works well for the bowler with more hand bowling on a condition with too much backend.  it gives them a more controlled backend,  similar to the
black ice, solution pearl, desert heat, saturn,  most of these are lower diff.
balls. i know the u turn gives people the feeling that it's a hook monster
with it's logo,  but it is not   a .035 diff.  is a control ball,
in our area these low diff. balls are among our biggest sellers.

I drilled on short time ago for a customer, 4x4 uses it on fresh med ths, lower speed but good amount of hand, hooks the piss out of her, generally by the third game he has to leap left to keep it in play. Looks to be a very good piece.

I've seen Mike Cimba referred to here before.  He drilled a U-Turn for me recently and I've just begun using it out of the gate on medium shots.  I tend to throw too hard and this ball is nice in that, when I do slow down, it holds the line well before turning to the pocket.

I've thrown four 279 games this week with it (and the non-strikes were all my fault).  Needless to say, I'm very happy with the ball so far.
