IMHO he made a mistake switching to that ball. He was doing alright with pin over mid finger ball prior game. Not that it's a bad drilling, I just think he made a bad shot, then got confused on both lanes.

Barnes has used that layout for a very long time now... I remember back in the day he drilled an HPD just like that! I saw it and had to drill one like it as well, rolled pretty good too!!

I can only guess that Chris Barnes decided to switch to his RICO Big Shot in order to even out the early friction it looked like he was seeing. I think that it was more so that Chris was maybe not making some of his best shot on the left lane more so the ball not matching the lanes. Chris is really good and likes to use different hand positions as well as balls and lines on different lanes and i think that mights of gotten him in trouble then the ball and the layouts he was using. But these are things that are pretty far out of the realm of any of us to notice or try to emulate. If only we could ask Chris what was going on would we ever get the real answer.
