Big shot or Action Max??
« on: March 26, 2007, 09:31:05 AM »
over the past few weeks I have been looking through numerous amounts of reviews, forums, videos, etc. trying to find which ball to get for my first high performance ball and i have finally narrowed it down to two balls....the columbia 300 big shot and the columbia 300 action max...

Both balls have gotten great reviews and I have heard nothing but great things about both balls, so now im trying to get some input from other people who might have used either one or heard anything positive/negative about either...

I average about 170, will be bowling on med-high oiled lanes, am more of a stroker/tweener, and want a ball that will arc into the pocket and not "snap" back to the pocket (this might be determined more by drilling than by the ball itself).

So with that in mind I would love to get some feedback from the people who seem to make up the best bowling forum on the web

thanks,
Sam

Sam....
I left a review on this board about my wife's Action Max and the Big Shot. She loves both of them. Check out the mini review more or less and see if anything fits your game.

thanks for the quick feedbak guys! I really wanted to make a decision within the next few days so I can make sure and get a ball before they run out.

Right now I'm leaning more towards the action max with what I'v heard from everyone, but the more opinions I get from you guys the better

thanks again,
Sam
