Mini-Review

Wrath SF - Drilled 4 x 4 x-hole on PAP

I really like this ball's motion off the break point. It is a perfect fit between the other two Wraths. I found the Original Wrath too squirty in oil and the XP a bit too early for my liking. The SF pretty much combines the two giving you a strong midlane while the polished cover saves some good energy for the backend.

Big Shot - Drilled 4 x 3  x-hole 45 degrees from grip center on VAL

This new coverstock is a great addition to the line-up. From just a few practice games with it, I can see the breakpoint angle this ball gives me being more dramatic than anything to date. The deeper I got on the lane, the ball seemed to hit harder. I think this layout might be a bit too strong early for me, I am going to drill another one with a 5" pin to PAP and I think it will be even stronger on the backend.

Any questions feel free to ask away.....

I throw Roto's exclusively, but I must say these two energy conserving pieces look mighty impressive.

big shot wasnt too impresive, i mean very nice the motion but nothing unique, but the wrath SF did look awsome!

great job

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!

Jon you sold a Wrath SF for k&k bowling, i liked the ball motion so much i called and ordered one after watching your video. I will now have the wrath sf and big shot with me tonight by league time, you should email Ken Keegan for your commission check

The big shot definitely appeared to hit harder the more it swung out. Looks good.

Threw the Big shot and the Wrath Sf last night in league, the Big shot was able to glide through the heads playing from up around the 5-6 board and make the turn hard into the pocket shot after shot. I tried in warmup to use the Wrath Sf it was not able to make the turn the oil volume was too heavy for it. The kicker here i also tried to use the Ebonite Total NV from the same line as the Big Shot and it could not make the turn hard enough to use it. I moved inside in warmup think the Total NV needed more oil wrong, it would not even wrinkle.

The thing i notice probably a surface thing more anything else is the Big Shot does not like carrydown to much, it labors from the 4000 finish when the oil pushes down the lane some. I moved to a 2000 finish Angular One and problem was solved for me, imo the Total Nv so far has been hype and not one of the balls i can trust at all. Love the Angular One at 2000 and already like the Big shot alot but i am not touching the Big Shot finish i can see where this ball will give me another option to open up the lanes more in carrydown if not heavy.

But also i did not have my Action Max with me since i was trying to fill the gap with the Total Nv, which i am sure would have gave the Angular One a good run for its money. All in all i am liking the last few releases of Columbia products, i actually could see where the Wrath Sf would work much better at another house i bowl at on friday nights.
