Title: Bring back something with the Ceramic Core
Post by: TheDude on January 17, 2005, 02:36:16 AM
I got my hands on a nearly mint condition Cuda 2000, and this is the oldest Columbia i have yet to try, and this ball matches up to my house conditon very well, but i have yet to find a columbia ball for myself that hits soo hard.

See

Polish it a little bit and you have a Cuda/C solid; leave it as is and you have a SuperCuda/C solid. It is a very versatile ball, but it should never have come dull - that turned too many people off. It should be polished.

The Cuda 2000 did NOT have the ceramic nugget. The Cuda/C 2000 did have the nugget.

I still have my first reactive bowling ball the original Cuda/C.  I still use it as a med-light ball.  The ball hits hard and I really like the smooth reaction.  It dose not jump of the dry like the new balls today.

thanks jeff i didn't realize that,
the werid was one of the few balls i didn't throw. i liked the ego very much so.

i wish they had a ball with the ceramic nugget, that was pearl resin, like the jekyll cover with a small nugget in it. something like an updated messenger TI gold.

LOL, i i know the wired was the same color and similar core, but the cover wasn't the same, the UFD died a little fast from the ones that i saw. and besides it's already been discontinued at my distributor.

oh and i got test balls today, didn't see what was inside the box yet.

probably my backyard bully, and maybe the U-turn.

i'll let you know tomorrow.

Well, the cover is resin.  UFD isn't particle I don't think.

My Wired is still going strong, plus I hear there's going to be a new ball cleaner out soon that will blow you all away

Better than acetone and MEK? *gasp*
