bedlam vs virtual energy
« on: May 11, 2010, 04:48:51 PM »
I have been looking for a ball to get back into the game.
I just brought a bedlam, but haven't re-drilled yet to give it a try.
I was also looking the virtual energy before I got the bedlam, but was wondering if I still should get it?

According to bowlingball.com perfect scale, the number are really different. I don't think it's a good reference, but I just use to for a quick idea.

From what I read the bedlam is a hooker, will the virtual energy overlap it? Or will both these balls compliment each other. Or should I just save my money and enjoy the bedlam for now.
For those that has experience with both, let me know how they compare.

My main ball right now is the momentum and will still be using it.

Thanks!

i have my energy drilled similar to my bedlam and it outhooks the bedlam by at least 4 boards. i prefer to use the energy because the house i bowl at is pretty heavy. you could always dull the energy to keep them from overlapping, granted you need that much ball where you bowl.

I agree the VE will out hook the Bedlam as it should, but for future reference never use that perfect scale. It is all propaganda to sell more of what they make more money off of. Since Ebonites brands wont give them a big price break they scale all of there stuff down. Its a good idea to bad, to bad the scale is not used correctly.

BTM numbers- seems the ve is liked better for med and heavy conditions and bedlam for drier conditions.

I don''t have either but I will buy a VE when they close them out.  I have a total bedlam and it''s a very good ball.
