Hi guys, anyone of you out there who owns these balls? How would each ball compare? In terms of overall hook and reaction type? How would you rank these 3 balls in terms of hooking ability(which ball would pick up earlier, which one would pick up the latest?) I am getting the Pure Physics, and looking to fill up my remaining arsenal, by getting 2 of these 3 balls, as well as a Freeze for my dry lane ball. Thanks in advance!

Get the Pure Swing and Burst. They are step downs from the Pure Physics all the way to the Freeze and your Columbia 300 bowling balls arsenal will be complete.

2010 is the first time joining a league since 1999. Over a 10 year lay off and haven't lost much of my game. This year currently HG-279 x 2, HS-733.

Pure Swing is a good med oil ball and if it is drilled weak a very good light oil ball.I all so have a power swing drilled close to the pure swing, for me the very same ball. Both balls are hard hitting and make a good move off the dry.My Big Shot and Action Packed out hooks both by at least 6 to 8 boards.

Get the Burst, period. This ball is awesome! Extremely predicatable and very versatile.
As for the Pure Swing or Complete Bedlam... Overall hook potential I give to the Pure Swing. Also, the change of direction on this ball is a little more violent. The Complete Bedlam is just as clean through the front but a little bit more even down the lane. I like them both, but I'd go with the Complete Bedlam because of the more controllable motion down the lane.

Really, the Complete is less violent down lane? I would assume if it was a stronger version of the Bedlam it would be much more of a hockey stick ball reaction. I guess the next question is how were the pure and complete drilled compared to one another? As well as surface prep?

To answer your question, I drilled my first Complete Bedlam the same way I did my only Pure Swing, so I can more accurately judge the differences between the two. At box finish, I had the Pure Swing sharper down the lane than my Complete Bedlam.
The second one I drilled is definitely sharper down the lane than my Pure Swing. I put a different drill pattern on it that creates more length and stronger motion down the lane. I didn't want to compare apples to oranges by comparing two different balls AND two different layouts. With the right layout, the Complete Bedlam can definitely be sharper down the lane than the Pure Swing.
Hope this helps.
