Wow,.....

I just noticed their ball comparison area on their website......I'll give them the fact that that is cool!  Great idea...

That's unfair - Columbia has come out with only what, 3 balls this year?

Jeff, it's totally fair, no one is saying that C300 sucks, but look.......4 balls this year....it's only April! Alter Ego, Detour, Trooper, Super Trooper!

whoa jeff mop im not knockin C300 at all, i never said the equipment was garbage or anything like that. all i said was they seem to pump alot of balls out. I dont have any problem with them at all. Most of the stuff i bought from 86 to 99 was C300.

everytime i seem to wait to see the overall opinion of a c300 its disconinued. Wasnt tryin to sound unfair and im not sayin some of the other companies dont pump out alot either. Track seems just as bad.

Jeff,
Brimar is right,....no one is slamming Columbia,....I've never said they sucked either....

However,...the issue is, when they release....the don't discontinue....

Yes, Roto has done 3 as well this year, but they've discontinued 2....

I think it's more or less the releases w/ out discon's ...that's when it gets
confusing....

ON EDIT:

The Trooper and Super Trooper don't count because they're not out, if they even exist at all to begin with. I haven't heard about them, and they're not listed on the PBA's web site under approved equipment (they always get listed there about a month before they get released).

They ARE on the C300 site, so that makes 5!

I just got my Super Trooper(Rock On Core) in the shop on Wednesday and one of my distributors has them on order so I guess it will be released.

Looks like C300 has retired the following:  Icon, Wow, and Wicked series, along with the Spirit II, Beast Master, Beast Pearl with Mica, Messenger, Messenger Ti Red/Blue, Messenger Ti BPS  and Ruby Red Scout. Thats per their email. I received....

They better keep that 'Tour Boss' core shape in something for a few more years. At least the Pulse/Renegade type look is back with the Super Trooper.
