This is a question for guys that are old enough to remember throwing Yellow Dots. There is a guy on Ebay claiming to be selling a "Bleeder" Yellow Dot. The problem is the serial number begins with a 6 and looks more like the Urethane added model Columbia sold in the mid to late 80s. He claims it is a 1976 model and is a bleeder. What do you think?

I can't tell for sure but i also remember the balls produced in 76 through mid 78 didn't really bleed much. 76 was the first year of the hardness rules and i remember my yellow dot ans sur d being shiny and not bleeding at all. First of the "bleeders" again was late 78
