Ball similar to Backyard Bully
« on: May 05, 2011, 05:49:22 AM »
I really like my Backyard Bully (16#), so I would like a new ball with similar power and hook but at 15#.  Any brand and any price.

Points that I like about the bully: very long, hits hard

Points I don't like: 16#

I have been out of bowling for the past 3-4 years due to work issues.  I got the bully just before I quit bowling (while my arm was still in tip-top shape).  Now that I'm just starting to bowl again, I'm finding it very difficult to keep throwing the bully the way I throw for three full games (I throw 16.5-17.5 mph with considerable revs.).  I'm looking for a ball that I can keep on the lane for all three games.  I'm thinking I want to go to 15# because I can throw my Ebonite Tornado all night, but I'm not satified with the hook or the power.

Any suggestions? Any other information that would help you help me?

Ebonite Tornado

Poly Scoobie Doo (spares)
