I personally have to disagree with you guys here.  Of coarse chris is gona have success with almost everything he uses because he is that good.  But i don't think he "chokes" because of using brunswick equipment.  If there stuff is so bad for his game, then how does he make it through every major this past year to make the show?  I think it is more of a nerve issue.  His swing is so effortless that he gets his feet a little slow and when your swing is so gravity dependent it throws things off.  Good Luck to him this year, should be an exciting year.

Jeff,

Doesn't just about every company make balls that rev up as early as Brunswick?  Track has the Phenom, Animal, and Freak lines.  Columbia has the Throttle line.  Ebonite has the Killer Instincts and Primal Instinct.  Storm has the XXXTreme.  All companies have early rolling stuff.  Personally, I think Brunswick has come a long way.  I have a higher rev rate than Barnes and loved the orange/black Inferno.  The Monster Bruiser was also an excellent ball.  To say that Barnes is better suited with another company...we will have to wait and see.  After all, Barnes had to go through qualifying with Brunswick stuff and made alot of shows.  It should be interesting to watch, though.

Yes Brunswick stuff is great if the heads are oily and on the left!

I often love them!

FOr the protour till now the volume of oil on many shows was very light.

Columbia will get thru that better.  Unless the shot is changed with this new slippery Brunswick oil.  In that case Chris switched at just the wrong time!

the Dude (Chris Barnes) can strike with anything, Big B, Storm, Columbia....  he had the best 5 year start of any PBA tour member. It's not a question of how the equipment is going to react for him the question is who's going to play the role of Rick Benoit. It's plenty of Ultimate Inferno and Full Throttle but their is only one Rick Benoit.

Jeff Mop how's your two brothers bowling?

God, I love watching him throw Richard Wolfe.

We've got a righty in our area who looks physically as good basically a mirror image.  Imagine a righty looking as good as a quality lefty.  Hard to fathom till one sees it!

I almost don't have time for leagues as I like to go to his leagues and watch him throw so much.  Hoping my eyes may absorb near bowling perfection!
