Momentum Swing Vs Noize..
« on: August 12, 2008, 01:44:32 PM »
I just drilled up a Noize and love it. I was thinking of getting a Swing but wanted to know what people thought that have both balls. Is the Swing that much stronger than the Noize? Is there enough difference OOB to justify having both in your bag?

Any comments would be appreciated..

Just based off videos that I have seen I would say there is absolutly room for both.

Yes, sir, the Swing covers so much more in the back.  I would say absolutely get both.

Both the Noize and Swing could be used on heavy oil imo.

i know a guy who works for Ebonite and he gave me some layouts for both balls. he suggested a 4 1/2", pin up/down, 45*, 1k abralon for the noize, and

4 1/2", pin up, 70-75*, 2k abralon for the swing.

i am hoping to drill the noize either this weekend or sometime next week. may look at the swing after i see what type of reaction i need to fill my bag.

I started with my Noize at 1k and it is just too much for the conditions I see so I will be bumping it up to 2k tonight no polish and see what that gives me.  I love the reaction it gives and the versatility i have been able to find with it.  The Swing from what I have seen is just SICK, it covers so much room and can be tamed down easily if needed.  C300 imho has the best active line on the market right now.  They have something that will handle all conditions.  And many pieces that can caover several conditions on there own.

I am liking the Arch Rival myself, cheaper ball and i doubt you need more than this unless floods. Much more backend than the rival and does kick out corners much better than the rival does.

mmcfarland300, how was yours layed out again?

1k may be too much, but i am thinking of a place i bowl at once a month for sweepers, and they have synthetics, and change patterns each month. some of my stuff has a tendancy to go too long, so that is why i figured 1k would be ok.

but let me know what you think of the 2k though. i have had some good success lately with surfaces of 2k and polish, so that may be where i end up with the noize.

PM sent

you shouldn't have much problem with it being too long.
