Has anybody thrown the classic U2? If so how do they like it.

I have used it a few times now and I like it although I will have to dial in the surface to get it where I want it for the dry old wood lanes im on
I also have the blue hammer
the U2 seems to have a little bit more push to it as the blue hammer just seemed to roll way to early and go straight after that

the U2 has a longer pin-pap than the BH
BH = 4.75"
U2 = 5.5"

did have to take the surface to 4000 dull to see what it would do,
from the powerhouse blueprint software, the U2 was a few boards stronger in the pocket than the BH

Resurgence core in this ball.  I used to throw a Storm Natural (high flare, 500 surface), and the C300 U2 Classic is WAAAAAAY better -- Bigger weight block so it hits harder (high flare, 2000)!  More messengers with this ball than any other in my current arsenal.

This is good ball for those of you that are Rev Dominant with low ball speed.

just got back from throwing my buddies classic, I have the blue hammer and i was talking w/ him (he runs the pro shop) about getting a 2nd 1 and drilling it stronger w/surface so i could use earlier in the set. he suggested the classic since it has the better core.  ball does seem stronger then my blue both balls pin up drilling, carried well, 1 burner 10 & 1 ball i got to fast every other shot was in the pocket and carried most of them.   might have to pick 1 up !!!!!

For me its the best dry lane ball ever.. Rolls more like a reactive on the dry but stays easy to controle and hits HARD. Love it.

well, best dry lane ball ever.....
right now its my hammer taboo spare ball, much better carry than the U2 on the old dry wood lanes.
better push, better carry
