Really nice over/under arsenal
« on: March 26, 2005, 07:54:13 AM »
A week or two ago I posted a section from Columbia's tech section on overunder.

I thought it was great!

However Columbia's idea of using the Roll(at least my Roll with a very strong weighthole) does not work for me!  My centers give too big a reaction to that monster!!!!

Instead I have really had it going for a bunch of weeks by using almost strikctly these Columbia products.

Wetter....Icon orignal
Dryer mediums Panic (600 grit with 2000 degree polish)
Dryer still a Dynamic groove.

I also took a Reaction Rev(resanded to 600 and polished with a ton of Ebonite Particle polish) the other day and pulled it out when the Panic was touch weak and th e Icon was a touch much and this now sort of used up ball was perfect on one of my centers.

Three great balls for over/under.

REgards,

PS at center #2 while using the Rev I started off striking playing 10 to 5(like over under instructions said).  ALl of a sudden I lost the strike ball and went to a small swing as shot blended out and then strike strike strike strike!

Think I"ve learned something
