these two balls have a very different reaction so it's hard to say which one is better???  Just depends on what your bowling on?

I know of a hand full of guys that use a Max on the fresh then goto a tnv when they need to open up the lane.

Neither is better; they are VERY different.

The TNV is a highlypolished pearl with an asymmetric core. It is intended for medium oil.

The Action Max is a dull resin, intneded for medium-heavy to heavy oil.

When the TNV is skidding 65 feet and can't make the turn, the Max is rolling and smashing the pocket.

When the Max is burnign up in the heads and leaving weak 10 pins and 5/7s and 8-10s, the TNV is conserving its energy and ripping the rack.

They are goto partners that almost can't be used on the same oil pattern by the same bowler. (Keep in mind that some house blended oil patterns can mask the differences between 2 balls.)
