Hi,
I just got used Columbia 300 yellow dot. I was wondering where can I get more info about the ball I have(like cover stock, core, etc). The serial number starts with 7B*****. I think this forum have enough knowledgable people to answer my naive question. Also, I did try to search on Columbia's website but they did not have much info about this retired ball.

It will make a great boat anchor or lawn decoration.  But...It has a three piece construction with a pancake wt. bloc.  On todays lane oils, it will skid like a hockey puck.

Probably make a great spare ball. There are a lot of folks who have fond memories of the original Yellow dot. As I understand it, it was the big performance ball of it's time.

Yeah doesn't much matter how soft plastic is with a pancake unless you bowl on a desert and are rev dominant with a slow ball speed.
