The Professional is just an insanely good ball. One Of Columbias Best hands down. i have not seen it roll bad for anyone yet. i hope columbia keeps this trend going especially for the summer or after with all of the other companies releasing a whole lot of equipment....

I heard that at bowlexpo they are going to debut a ball featuring a new coverstock that hooks 8-10 more boards than the Big Bully.  Unreal!

Not that impressed with the little I saw of the Professional.

And sort of funny.

At this moment this post titled Professional best ball blah blah blah, is followed by a post...Professional for sale.

He He!

yeah they are letting people know its for sale because its limited and a great ball... you obviously need to see the ball in other peoples hands because i have not seen it thrown bad by one person yet... and the new columbia stuff i hope will be as good as this ball because it is fantastic... and a ball to hook 8-10 more boards than the big bully would be insane... hopefully a new midline will be coming... like the U-turn perhaps

Ummmmm.  Saw it!  Didn't own it.

I have many very good columbia balls and they all react for me!

This one was not reacting well for this fellow.  As is the problem with non pure reactives in my area.  In fact in my area the Infernos and balls with non standard reactive coverstocks have been sort of a DUD except for the Absolute Inferno.

8 - 10 more boards.  If the hooking "out of box" balls keep coming out.  They might have to increase the width of the lanes to make it more exciting.  As it is now most of the balls on the market you could hook from the edge of one gutter into the the other.  I like the lack of hook in a ball that way the bowler has to do the work.  These days anybody can throw a ball and make it hook

Correction....It might just be the exopy shell after talking to an insider today, its in the final stages of development and is almost ready to go since it debuted at the last expo.

That is strange because I remember somebody from AMF300 (either Fig or Pat) say that although Columbia300 produces the balls for AMF300, AMF300 is solely responsible for their own R&D and ball design.

If the epoxy ball is being researched and developed by AMF300, I don't see how/why it would debut on a Columbia300 ball.

`at this one demo day that the pro shop around here had for all the pro shop owners had this guy that was a member of amf had an apoxy ball there. needless to say everyone threw it...that ball didnt stay on the lane. it was sick, it just took off at the arrows. they have actually made a ball that could make me think bowlings getting a little too wild
