Title: Columbia Arsenal
Post by: fejman1023 on December 29, 2010, 12:14:32 PM
I am looking to complete my arsenal. I am a tween-er, who usually stands 12-15 and throws 2-3rd arrow, with a medium rev rate. I have a cool noise, burst and a prodigy which is polished. I am looking for something with a Little more hook for more oilier conditions. I looked at the Pure Physics and the Ransom. I have heard about the upcoming World Beater. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should go with?

Your insight is appreciated.

The world beater would be a great ball to fit in there. It is going to be strong then anything else u have but won't be crazy off the spot.

I would suggest a outburst.  My burst and outburst show two totally different motions on the lane.  I drilled my burst with a 3 1/2 in pin over the ring kicked out about 20*.  The outburst is a 2in pin and drilled pin under kicked out about 20* also.  The outburst is an early rev, smooth arc and is the best ball I have had in a while.  threw 250's last night to win high game pot.  anyway, hope that helps as I don't know how yours is drilled so this is just an opinion.  thanks

Staffer on my team says he prefers the Ransom to the World Beater. For him he said the WB just doesn't hit as hard. He currently has a 232 avg and 2 300 games this season so he knows.....

I would go with the Outburst or World Beater. The Ransom is pearl and shiny so it works better when used for a sharp down-lane reaction. The Outburst has a stronger cover and is much rougher out of box than the Burst is, so it will be much stronger the your Burst. The World Beater would be stronger as well, maybe even a little more user friendly since the cover isn't so rough.

In my opinion the outburst hooks just as much as prodigy if not more at the same surface.  I'd say something along the lines of the world beater or pure physics.  The pure would be more snappy on the back than the world beater's smooth arc.  If your looking for a similar motion I'd say get the world beater over the pure physics though.
