Columbia bags
« on: July 10, 2004, 04:57:35 AM »
I know several people who have some of the new 6 ball bags from Columbia, and while they look fantastic, everybody who has one has had nothing but problems with it.  Everything from the straps breaking off, to the material ripping, and these people just got them not too long ago, and have not been abusing it.  Columbia has been good about offering refunds or replacements, but these bags have been designed very poorly.  Just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with these bags, hopefully Columbia has stopped production on them, and are working on redesigning them.

Most of the entire new Columbia bag line has been recalled according to Columbia customer service. I agree, it is designed very poorly and is very cheaply made..

They recalled all the roller bags, and one of the totes from what I know.  The roller bags had a handle problem.  The tote has a strap problem. The strap was located wrong and had to be moved.

lol, im not a nutless wonder.  It was a joke, I know Jeff from bowling in some southern regionals, and my poke was at the "stereotypical" new york attitude, which I too think is a joke.  My name is Chris Wells, I live in Atlanta, Georgia.  I bowled part time the last 2 seasons on the Southern Regional tour, and am currently on what seems to be a forever leave of absence after spraining some ligament in my bowling wrist in october.  I've been bowling for around 7 yrs, have a few 300's, couple 800's and average around 204 in our region.  I work in a local proshop, and would be more than happy to bowl in tournaments in New York should the need ever arise.  I've also found in my short 25 years that having a hair-trigger attitude doesnt get you far in life.  Anything else you'd like to know, brimus?
