Columbia 300 Wrath Review
« on: June 19, 2006, 04:19:33 AM »

OK folks I drilled this ball exactly like my Wrath XP

3-4 inch Pin top weight 3 1/4 OZ

Drilled for Righty

I drilled this ball pin beneath ring finger, CG swung towards Axis points. CG is about 1" inch away from thumb with a Low extra hole.

This ball gets down the lane similar to the Wrath XP, but it makes a hard flip. It does need medium oil to maximize ball potential, If you play with on dry it may roll to early and with a higher pin it could flip to much (that's on Drier conditions). But a control drill is certainly great for your house conditions. The Wrath and Wrath XP definately compliment each other.

I will be posting videos soon...

I heard that the wrath is better than the Xp but they are both dogs, you are a staffer so you cant say this but one of my friends has both and is selling them off already. I was waiting to hear how good they were but he strongly recommended passing on these releases, the hyjinx on the other hand is a great ball since i have it.

I'm not sure how he laid them out or what condition he is bowling on, But both of them our 1st out the bag for me. Not saying this about your friend, but some people dont give the ball a chance they try it on a certain condition and then get rid of it. Just because a ball is made for medium oil doesnt mean it wont work for someone else in heavy. It really depends on layout and the bowler. I wouls suggest you try it you might think differently.

Thanks Mrbowlingnut

I will think about it but want to hear from others what they think of the wrath and the wrath xp. I was a huge fan of the grape colored tibossII when i started bowling back in 98, that ball hit like a truck for me. The friend is an upper level bowler who knows my game well but you are correct that stuff i like and he likes does vary because of rev rates and so forth.

Yep...I can't imagine with this proven core how much of a dud it could be!

I'm guessing this cover is more like the great covers from storm = reactor..radar from AMF and the Activator +s from Brunswick(just a guess).

More continuous less pure skid snap.

I've heard from lovers of the HiJynx already also!

They LOVE it!
