« on: October 04, 2006, 02:16:49 AM »
Anyone use it?  What do you think of it and why did you pick this over any other kind of wrist support?  Bowling 3x a week now and I am starting to notices a slight pain in my wrist.

Thanks in advance

Get one and you will love it.  I have responded many times to this topic from others.  I used to get pain across the back of my hand.  Once I tried one of these, I never had the pain again.  It is not technically a wrist support, but more of an aid to take pressure off of the wrist.  The little ball bearing the F10X pushes on a pressure point in your wrist to alleviate some of the stress.  I have sold them to many people and everyone loves them.  We have even sold them to people who type a lot of alleviate carpal tunnel pain as well.  Give one a try.

Thanks.  I ordered one on ebay.  Apparently they are discontinued so they will be very hard to come by.  None of the online pro shops had them in the size I needed.

What does the original one look like compared to the newer velcro one?

trog,

The new one has a loop that you put the velcro through.  The old one just didn't have that loop.  I actually like the new one better as I had both of them.  To each his own as they say.

JDT,
Thanks for the addition to the thread.  I am sure it was very helpful to all.  Ever try one???  Didn't think so.

Hey JDT.  Ever watch bowling on TV?  I have seen more than one PBA Pro using this device either by itself or in conjunction with some kind of glove (Pete Weber for example).  I doubt any pro would wear one if it did nothing.

Geez JDT,
I would suppose that you are the type of person who has to have every single thing substantiated by medical doctors or some other type of "approving" board to say the product works.  Many wrist devices have helped people with pain and none of them are approved medically to stop pain from happening.  Are all of those quackery and placebo as well???  They may not be advertised to alleviate pain, but many use them to help brace their wrist so there won't be pain.  Anyway, my point was that if you have in fact tried one, it would have been much more helpful to state that it didn't help you at all.

That is all.

I have this one and the original Pro grip.  I could just never get used to having something on my wrist..

i personaly didint see any difference, when my wrist hurt, it didint remove any of the pain. when it was fine, i didint see any of the "features" of it like endurance and reflex enhance(lol like a strap could do that) and i definatly didint feel energized
