Just wondering how angular or skid flip can you get with the freeze and the right drilling
Want the ball to be long, angular and flippy on even medium to dryer conditions..
Is the freeze a good choice.. any other suggestions..

i have a freeze and a gravity shift and a mission polished. Last night i was using the mission and as it began to check up i decided to go to the freeze. Big mistake. the freeze set up just like the mission,both polished was more aggressive than the mission. So much so that i couldn't keep it to the right of the head pin. my point,freeze is no weak puppy dry lane ball. mine is drilled pin over bridge and its no oil monster,but its not a toast ball either.

I wouldn't consider using the Freeze for drier conditions.  Remember, this is the same coverstock used on the Momentum, which was no dry lane ball, and the core on the Freeze has a strong differential (0.047 in 15#)  It is much stronger than I thought it was.  I drilled mine up 75* x 4-3/4" x 30* (pin over ring, CG in grip center).  In box finish, it was very long and very angular, even with this layout.  I wanted the ball to be smoother on the backend, so I took the polish off and have taken the surface to 4000 Abralon.  It still gets excellent length, but isn't as angular off the spot.

I think if you want this ball to be skid/snap, it will definitely fill that role.  The surface takes adjustments well.  For the price, you definitely get a lot of ball for the money.
