Columbia Freeze - Under/Over ?

I purchased the Freeze back in August and have not yet figured this ball out.
I have seen alot of under/over reaction.   Ball is pin under, CG kicked out OOB finish.  Has anyone done some cover maintenance on their's ???

I never saw much over/under with the OOB finish.  However, it was much stronger and much more skid/flip than I wanted.  I drilled it tame, pin over ring finger with the CG in grip center.  I put it on the spinner and hit it with light pressure, a lot of water, and a white Scotchbrite pad.  I still get excellent length, but I get more of a hard arc on the backend, rather than a flip reaction.  Don't be afraid to lightly knock the shine off the ball, I think you will like the reaction.

I have the freeze drilled similar to yours NY I found that drill caused a to much snap on the back end. So I took the shine off with a 4000 abralon pad on a spinner. tamed the snap down and gave a more controlled off the break. You may talk with your driller of a possible balance hole in it.  Depending on where the hole is placed and can help calm the backend reaction down.

That is just what I expected many to say about this ball...higher RG than that of the old TI messenger series and pearl....

JUST what many would suspect....too late a break easily fixed with a little increase in surface!

I have not experienced any over under with that ball, but common sense would say take the polish off and rough the surface a little as stated above.

I would hit it with 2000 or 4000. I have even found that using storm step 2 compound works really well.
