505T vs Ransom
« on: February 08, 2011, 07:34:27 AM »
I have a 505T 65x4.5x30 2000Ab that I love, I need   a ball that will get  down lane longer but still be as strong over all   as the 505T, how would  the Ransom do in that spot? I had a  Track  607A that I  just dont care for and  have given up on and sold. I was  thinking a  stronger pearl would be a  good fit.

Heres my current arsenal, tell me what I need:

 715T 65x4.5x30  2000ab  Heavy oil
 505T 65x4.5x30  2000ab  med heavy
 Dark Star  70x4x40          Med
Red Backlash 80x3x40      MedLight/Light...not too bad for spares either
 White Dot                        Spare Ball

Have you thought about a 718 a.  Its a brand new release from track, and I think it'd fit nicely in that area.  The Ransom would do a pretty good job too imo.

i have a Ransom drilled: 50* x 5" x 40* and really like it. the ball gets down lane very easy and has a nice strong move off the spot. i have not thrown any of the track items lately, so unfortunately i cannot compare the 2 for you.
