Title: Columbia Pure Swing mini review
Post by: strikingresults-atl on December 16, 2009, 02:55:08 AM
I drilled my Pure swing with the pin 4.75x55x30 with no weight hole. This is one really good rolling bowling ball. Its very clean through the fronts and really comes of the spot once it hits friction and very continous on the backend. The thing that i really like is with the sanding process that columbia is using the ball doesn't blow by the spot. Its very versatile, you can play pretty square or move in and go around it.I compared to my full swing which is 4000 abralon and magic shine. Its reads the midlane a little sooner and is much stronger off the backend.Chad you got a winner here.

The Pure Swing is very clean in the "heads" or front part of the lanes and does hold the line without being to aggressive when it comes out of the "pattern" or in the back ends. For the Full Swing fans this ball has the same Full Tilt 5.0 core but there has been pearl added to the cover to make this ball a great combo to the Full Swing. I bowl a 4 game league and when I run outta room or do not like the angle that the Full Swing is coming in at I will grab the Pure Swing and play the same line and still strike !!!!! My 1st night out with this ball I shot 247-265-299-811 (8 pin on the last game)
