So what's your point?  Is this yet another one of those "The EPX Is A Dud" topics?

sammy / smash it
actually it is sort of true,  they have indeed taken back balls from some of their dist.,  exchanged them, not buying them back,  giving the dist. full credit and appling it to other msde.
also i have heard that some dist. also did this with their local pro shop
customers.  they also exchanged some epx that some shops felt they were stuck with,
just goes to show you that there are a few good quality dist. out there, and it also speaks well of columbia for being willing to help their dist. by exchanging the balls.

got this info from my dist.  4 minutes ago.
so sammy, you did not do or say anything wrong.

one thing i don't understand is why when someone says something like this rumour or otherwise we seem to jump on him. there is a difference between the above and someone flaming a brand of bowling ball just for annoyance sake. aren't we here to discuss this stuff? i loved my epx but was unable to use it except for very limited occasions. so i got rid of it. wasn't versatile enough for me to carry around (i don't want or need a 6 ball carrier for my level of skill.) just my 2 cents

Discussing relevant topics is one thing, but contributing to the growing pollution of this site with useless babble like this post by sammy the sage is another.  He never even replied to my initial inquiry regarding this thread.  What's the point here?  Obviously it was nothing more than trying to stir up things again regarding the EPX-T1 problems that were already corrected months ago.  GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES!  I am growing tired of logging-on and reading the same mindless rants/rumors that are becoming more and more the standard here.

At least Columbia came up with something cool/new.  The market will determine what sells and what doesn't.  Personally, I read all the information on this ball and I thought it sounded pretty cool.

well i guess to some people, paying $200 or more for a ball is a big deal.

$200?  I paid less than $100 for each of mine shipped.

and if there is a problem with a ball,  some bowlers would like to hear about it.

I have no problem with that.  The EPX bashing though is like beating a dead horse.  If you and others would use something called the search function you'd see that the EPX issues that some folks have experienced have been covered a million times already.

Are you his mother?  Do you fight his battles for him?  If he has something to say I will be more than happy to address it.  Like I said previously, obviously his point here was to try to start something.  My only regret was feeding the trolls...

I am still waiting for you guys to demonstrate the usefulness of this.  That's right you can't.

bashing, i think not, i believe we said columbia was taking the balls back and exchanging them with other equipment.

NOW I IS NO SHAKESPHERE, but that sounds to me like a good thing we were saying about columbia and some of their dist.

try taking up golf, you need to get rid of that stress,
maybe it's too much coffee in you diet.

i must have missed the page with the rules that said you have to talk like an english professor to be on ballreviews.com.

everybody loves raymond

jls31316, maybe you should just stick to watching your Everybody Loves Raymond because you seem to be better at that than making positive contributions here.  Ever hear of a dictionary?

If you have such a problem with EPX bashing, why don't you just avoid the threads instead of wagging your finger at anyone who dare complain about the dud?

twoheadedboy - Therein lies the problem.  If you have such a problem with my ability to call people on their misconceptions, why don't you just avoid the threads then hypocrit?  Pray tell, have you even had an EPX to warrant calling it a "dud?"

i just don't understand it.  i really don't know why this person thinks we "was" a bashing columbia.

i thought we "was a" saying good "stuff bout them."

stated that they were indeed standing behind their product by taking back some balls shows me that columbia is a class outfit.

I agree that Columbia is top notch and they always stand behind their products.
Once you said this I took it personal:

"sammy, i think you need to send this guy, sir something a messgae and tell him
"excuse me { you } for living"

Did you forget what you had typed?  Sammy the sage's post was nothing more than poking fun at Columbia and I simply called him on it.  I never was addressing you until you decided to make that comment above.  Heck, my second comment on this topic wasn't even meant to address you, it was toward baltimora.  Scroll up and see for yourself.  Seriously dude, lay off of the drugs.

for all you people that bought epx's and paid more than $100 with shipping.
don't you feel stupid now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmm...I know, it's hard to follow your own 5th grade logic here but stick with me.  So by your rationale, anyone who buys a ball for less than what others have makes them feel stupid?  It's everyone's choice whether they want to purchase a ball from their local pro shop or off of the internet.  I personally never buy a ball as soon as it is released.  I will wait and read up on it first to decide whether it will fit my game.  I am also the type to scour the internet for the best deal.  But to each his own.

P.S. - I am really enjoying this jls31316.  Keep dumbing yourself down with each and every post you make.

Every ball company makes quality stuff IMHO.  It's ultimately up to the bowler (or possibly the ball driller) to decide whether a particular ball will fit his or her game.  It's just funny how sometimes these "fanboys" like twoheadedboy (whom only uses Brunswick equipment according to his profile) come into other rooms here merely to spread propaganda in order to make themselves feel good about their "favorite" company and to justify it.

i don't know sammy's history so i can't comment on whether he did it for noise pollution purposes. just looking at his statement alone it appears to be relevant discussion fodder. my suggestion would be to add him to your ignore folder. my point is that many here get their nose outta joint at the slightest provocation. i once told a buyer whose account i serviced (who would scream at me at the top of his lungs when a problem occurred): "some day you are going to have a heart attack over these things. and guess what, i won't care. i imagine someone will. do yourself a favor and calm down."

I just hate the LACK OF HONESTY by the big companies in general...

JUST TELL THE @#$%^&*&^^%$# TRUTH....

I don't care if it's the phone, insurance, used car or bowling ball company.....if you're TOO DENSE  to comprehend that...well you're probably being added to my list of 1000+ others on my ignore button.
