Wasn't the Ego pearlized?  The Shock is more of a solid coverstock.  Isn't that difference enough?  If it's not, I know I'd rather throw a manly black and red ball than a girly purple pearl ball.

The ego is an awesome pearl this should be an awesome polished solid.

Both cousins of the light load particle Reaction Rev.

This UFD stuff is CRAZY!

Drilled one of these up for Willie Willis, and he threw it next to his Full Throttle.  It was more overall hook by a couple boards, and had a similiar ball motion.

Just saw one today.  Like much of Columbia's stuff looks much different versus pictures on the website.

Sort of maroon and blue, very dull, no red like picture and no polish!
Very bla looking!

However, my Ego looked like yuchh when I got it and I love it!

Also saw Detour for first time and it is dark reddish versus the Purple with a polished look on the website.  Again a very bbla looking ball as far as appearance.

i've had my detour since april and i just love it i actually got it to replace my messenger b/s/p so if the shock has the same type of hit and carry it should be a great ball.

My proshop guy three of the new balls. The shock, fear, and panic.  he quickly drilled the shock for himself.  I saw him throw it on a sport shot leage and boy can it move. This ball has some teeth on it. there were a few shot we couldnt believe got back.  The panic was luckly put my hands.  The panic is clean through the front and mids and then makes a controlled move to the pocket.  The only problems I see with Colubia is that all these balls are overlaping.  The panic is lot like the supertrooper.  The shock is looking to be a lot like the new bully.  Can someone say ball of the month has started again.  And these ball look pretty good also.
