Can anyone tell me what's up with the Detour?
« on: March 03, 2004, 07:20:28 AM »
Hey, I was getting curious about this Detour that Columbia300 has out and It's been out for a good couple of weeks and I haven't seen any posts on it yet.  So what's the deal with this Detour?  What exactly is it designed for?  To me it looks like to would go long on medium oiled lane contions and make a strong but not sharp break for the pocket, sorta like the Formula that Columbia300 had previously created.  correct me if I'm wrong please.  Tell me what you guys think

it should be somewhat similar to the Formula, it does use the same core, only they inverted it and added a flip block. How much that is going to change the reaction, I am not sure, because the coverstock is also different. Haven't seen one thrown yet, so I can't say.

thanks.  I was getting the impression that it would react like a formula but I'm not sure, that's just an educated guess.
