Just needed the opinion of some people that have thrown this ball. Do you throw it in the OOB surface?? Have you tried it without the polish and how did you like it?? The one I have seems to go really long and just wondered what other people who have had this ball thought of the ball.
Have my Complete Bedlam at 1000 w/ a touch of polish and yes it does go pretty long, but the recovery on
mine is great. I pay a price when if I get slow w/ my speed, but its a fun ball to use for a stroker like myself.
I just took advantage of Buddies closeout sale and picked up another for $69. Haven't used it yet, but have
it at 2000 dull in hopes of smoothing out some of the sharp backend
Clint,
How did you like yours out of the box??? Did you think it was too long and kind of killed the backend???
It never really goes long to the point of washing out or whiffing the headpin altogether unless I don't get
anything on it at release. It may go a touch long and leave a 10 pin, but the recovery is good enough to
find the pocket on THS or anything other than longer/heavier patterns.
Didn't do anything fancy w/ the drilling. It's basically just a stacked drill w/ the pin above the ring finger
and no wt hole.
Used my 2nd Complete for the first time last night to finish the set. Backends really began to jump towards
the end and had given me a couple 4 pin leaves and a split. Switched to Complete #2 and finished w/ the last 5
to salvage a 216 gm 686 series.
It's drilled w/ the pin under, cg kicked out approx 45 degrees w/ a wt large wt hole around the p2 position.
Big difference in the reaction of the 2 balls!!!!
