Does this work? If you're wondering what I'm talking about, I'm talking about this:

I could get the Hook Again system by Ebonite but am short on money. My One seems to have lost it's hook, it has a ton of games on it. I was hoping this would bring some life back. Thanks.

Hot water method is cheaper and works great, use the search function as there are many topics on it.

I've tried that already, didn't really do much.

I tried it a few times and it seemed to work.
I have some and will use it again.
I made these adjustments to the described process:
1. I sanded the ball fairly roughly, about 280 - 320 grit.
2. I used about 1/2 the amount of material.
3. Once the ball and the powder were in the bag and I had sealed it, I really pressed the material into the surface as much as I could, thoroughly coating it.
4. I left it in there for 24 - 48 hours, moving the ball and the powder around a couple of times over the period to insure new material always stayed in countact with the ball's surface.
I alos used a dust mask, just in case, when I cleaned the material off the ball. Then I used a good ball cleaner to insure all the powder was off the ball. Then I brough it back to whatever surface was needed.

I have used it on my balls, my wife's balls and customer's balls, never have had a problem and always had good results. I know what the package says but I leave the balls in 24 hours as charlest said and turn them every so often just to make sure the material stays in contact with the ball.

100% agree !
(cpr works also but the effect lasts not long, better use the hot water method)

CPR has worked for me too the times I've used it. Mainly, though, I use hottish water.

Yeah, we know that the "refreshed" AI did not last long. Pretty disappointing, IMHO. Seems to work, but hot water bucket is a) cheaper and b) more effective.
