Not to hijack or anything, but a much better question for this topic would be
Does it help to talk to your equipment? I find that when I say kind, encouraging things like "C'mon, baby, you can strike, I know you can" then my carry increases, but when I berate and belittle my balls, saying nasty things like "You piece of carp, how could you leave that 8-10" or "I might as well throw a pile of dog pooh down the lane, the way you're hitting", my carry suffers. Does anyone else find this is true?
