Deep Freeze Cover
« on: November 07, 2014, 08:30:28 AM »
Is it safe to assume that the cover on this ball is going to be a weaker version of the New Era cover on the regular Freeze?  Or, is this the exact same cover but just a tweaked (weaker) version of the core that is in the Freeze?

the description just says new era reactive so i take it to mean the original new era solid cover...although the pictures make it look pearl

I had the exact same question when the balls were introduced on Tuesday.  In an email with Bugsy Kelly, he told me that the cover was the same as found on the Freeze Pearl, but the higher RG, lower diff core makes the ball significantly straighter.

Thats exactly the info I was looking for.  Thanks, Jeff!!

Thanks Jeff , I will have this ball on my Christmas list. I always struggle on the dry.The freeze hybrid is just a bit to much , and the scout just didn't carry at times. This ball was much needed in my personal opinion.
