Drives me crazy

I dislike how Columbia, Track, and AMF balls now have the serial number under the cg.  Sometimes you drill through it and it also looks stupid IMO.  Also, AMF has "Made in U.S.A." right by it.  I don't want to see that in my grip...

I have drilled 2 equations both like this, and I also believe most of the AMF's are like this.  Maybe they only do this on some balls...

Shane,

I could see where it could be a problem drilling them out and your driller would want to etch them in.

I looked at my Jinx, HyJinx and Inertia and found no problem where they wound up.  On the Jinx and Hyjinx there is no color fill so that doesn't bother me at all and even if it was it still wouldn't bother me.

How I like them and their ball reaction and results has more to do with any ball rather than color or where logos wind up.  You do have a point about drilling out S/N #'s that could be a potential problem.

I have to say all three are great balls which I have gotten great use of this year.

Hate is a pretty strong word IMO.

Makes you wonder why they do that?  Why did track move away from the cg in the logo on some balls?

On my Inertia the S/N # is below the MB marking below and left of thumb.  On my Jinx, HyJinx and Radar all are label shifted.  CG shifted left on label and none have S/N #'s drilled out.  All S/N #'s have no paint fill.

It would never stop me from buying one of their balls, just more of a pet peeve.  Seems like there should have been more thought into it.  I'm sure there was, but I can't figure out the logic.
