well I've rolled the momentum and seen it rolled by several differen't people. At my main house it is a medium oil THS with squeaky clean backends. They did something to their oiler/stripper this year to cause the backends to be SUPER clean. The momentum really is too strong for that shot, but I have watched several people use the Rival on it with much success. If your bowling on a typical house shot where there is a little more oil, then I think the momentum will be fine. But if your bowling on one a little more on the medium side (but still heavy enough the dead flush won't work right) then I'd go with the Rival. Just my .02
