I was just wondering what the going rate was for a Columbia 300 Icon NIB 15lbs with a 2-3 inch pin. I know the Ebay prices can get extreme just wondering what they go for on here.

Are you looking to buy one or do you have one to sell?  eBay's fee structure is at least partially responsible for some of the "extreme" prices you see there.

While the Icon is considered by some to be a classic, I don't think it falls into the same category as a Hammer Black Widow or Storm Agent.

$100-$150 shipped should eventually find a buyer.

id be selling it for $250-$300.  The icon was a great one.  Make sure it goes to the right person.  It deserves more than what something new costs thats for sure!

A rare classic is an original, undrilled, Brunswick Danger Zone in 15#... The Icon is not in the same category.

$400 to $500 is a great price if you want to sit on it and wait for it to crack in storage :P

I agree with Billdozer. You might have to hold it a bit, but there is a buyer out there for it at the $250-$300 price range. You just have to be willing to let them find you.

I loved my Icon. That being said, I wouldn't pay more than $125 for it. That is also not an offer lol.

I just don't get paying that much for a ball unless it is made of gold or guarantees I won't leave any corner pins when I use it.

Now if your talking an old Faball Hammer 3D offset NIB in 15 pound, that' a different story but the Icon is no where close to that ball.

Bwawwww!

Put my 13 year old Icon 2 in a part of my hot garage where the fan does not reach(seems to help).

Just for a few days(it had been under the fan).  Two or 3 hot days later it went from the small crack in the fingers down out of the fingers and into the thumb.  But not in my track.

In for expensive emergency surgery. 

This thing still allows me to hang almost with my son in our battle to a soda matches in my former home house on visits!  (maybe 2 to 3 out of 10) Never touched it with sandpaper and still hookin like it loves me!

This was the winner of the Icon's.  Still have an original and another Icon2 in storage!
That ICON was rounded and even in it's hook.  This low diff Icon2 I believe is a fore runner for balls such as the Twisted Fury, IQ tours, and the Motiv Venom Toxic and Venom.  These low diffs take out all the unneeded diff on some patterns and allow one to straighten up and get a lot of hit in the back!

I remember Walter Ray using the Icon/Icon2, in tandem on tour and looking very good with them.

Bwaaawwww!  Is he going to be all right Doc?

Likely if you list it on ebay it would go for $80 to $150. If your feedback is low or questionable it will stay on the low side.

Agreed.  I would be surprised to see it go beyond the $125 mark.  Although arguably a great ball years back, conditions have changed and it likely would not roll/react the same today...  Anyone buying it would be doing so as a novelty...  There are many balls that would fill the medium/light catagory just the same for much cheaper...

Like the quote from Pawn Stars...  Just because its old doesn't mean its valuable.

Went to see the Doctor and he said the surgery was failure, the 13 year old patient died on the table.

I came in for the autopsy.  He said I was making an incision with my drill, just with this small drill bit!  The splice from fingers to thumb went POP and all of sudden there was a fault line from the fingers to the thumb going the other way!  All around the ball!!!!  Bwwwwaaaaaahhhhh!

Thirteen years after the particle haters and sanders said this thing would die it just kept on hooking and winning until it's unceromonius death.  So much for those San Antonio cores!

Thankfully I still have my Reaction Roll and Track Spell on the particle side.  Also in my storage bin a backup of the Icon 2 that I think still hasn't split!  A little drilling tweak needed!  Oh and an Icon also!

When do they ever put out enough for that Reaction Roll in league any more???  Lots of midlane!  Lots of powerful smooth backend!
