After watching the vid, I can safely say that the video distinctly made me want to stay away from the ball.  The ENTIRE point of the video was to talk about how much of a massive hook this thing has (but still hits great), and considering youth league patterns are mostly dry, I can safely say I have no desire for another hook monster.

Luckily Eryn Brooke made up for it, hehe.

a big plug with a core and additives in the cover to make it hook more...

Hmm, I just realized something.  This DOES provide one advantage though.  I think it would be a great idea for columbia to make plug material, except with the extra chemicals in it (since the cover is made of plug material).  You know, so instead of just having normal plug in it, you can have "epx t1" plug material or whatever in it, so there is no difference in the cover from plugging it (like how normally the plug spots won't react like the rest of ball).  Just an idea.

It wasn't ENTIRELY about more hook, and those parts I mentioned are probably what the more experienced and knowledgable bowlers will like.


What I took from the video, I got it at bowlfest in seattle yesterday, was that the coverstock is very versatile.  The way I understand it they can increase or decrease the amount of plasticizers(sp?) in the coverstock.  By doing so they could use the same base for dry lanes and the same for the flood.  They just brought the hook monster to the market for the hype it generates.  The ball is ultra tacky.  Just wish I could have seen it thrown.

I personally will have no need for the EPX T1.

sb, save the file to disk and then right mouse click on it and choose open with and click choose program then select real media player, check always use selected program and hit ok.  It sounds like quick time jacked the file association with ram and rm files.

Clayman, have you ever had a problem with a ball not moving? I mean, you could probably get a medium or medium-heavy oil ball to move just as much as me throwing this baby. lol. I guess like 500 rpms come in handy in oil.
