EPX T1 Shattered

I received a new EPX T1 ball 2 weeks ago. Bowl 3 games on heavy oil and loved the complete roll through out. I rolled one game last night and in the tenth
frame picked the ball up from the return and saw a chip the size of a dime
and about a 1/8th inch deep.Boy was I mad. I then looked harder at it and saw
what only can be described as an egg being cracked. This ball is toast. If I roll it down the lane it would shatter in at least 3 or 4 big chunks that's
how bad it looks. I saw another post about a crack by a finger hole and I'm wondering if there is more of this type of problem out there?

i know these epoxy balls are starting to sound like real problems.....  i think give columbia about 2 more releases and they will get it right...... i can guarantee i wont drill the epx t1 but if they come out with another one i think they will fix the problem

I am very disappointed in this ball and Columbia, I just don't agree with putting out a ball for us the consumer to buy and test for them at the prices they ask us to pay. It's ridiculous to pay well over two hundred bucks for simply a test ball. I love Columbia's equipment but I am very disappointed.......

you probably are lucky and got a good one probably more bad ones out there than good ones. i recommend to any one buy at own risk!!

I already had two that haired lined around the fingers with less than 10 games on them. The old lady said she wanted to smack me because she thought I hack her ball up. go figure..

Met a guy at a local shop.  He tried to plug and redrill EPX for a different reaction. Poured plug into finger holes and it came out of the thumb hole.  There was an internal crack in the ball.  He got the ball replaced.
