How similar is this ball to brunswicks danger zone. I have the danger zone and love it but wish it could handle just a little bit more oil volume and was wondering about  the eruption pro blue.

Definitely would not recommend the EP Blue for that. I would look at the GB3 from Ebonite if you want a good step up or a GB2 if exactly just a little more ball than the Danger Zone (which it sounds like the case.
