Greetings...

Have a WOW Pearl and it is my go to ball.....drilled pin at 2....with a balance hole.....ball is simply amazing.....clean through the heads....good midlane read and controlled back end.  Use it on anything from medium-heavy oil down to dry as long as the heads don't go.  Typical shot for me on that type of shot is swingin 15 to 5....and whammo....If you polish it up will go longer with more of a snap...though not the skid/flip type of snap more a really strong arc.  Have shot monster with it and am thinking of adding a second to the collection.  As for wear....I am absolutely terrible at ball maintence....has at least 150 games on it with only a quick cleaning at most and haven't seen any loss in performance.
