Just wondering if anyone tried pin under the fingers cause i have a noize with pin above ring and leaves to many nine pins and carry isent very good i was thinking about plugging and putting a 45-4 1/2-65 just wondering what u guys think.Smoother reaction and more of an arc then the skid snap i have now. o and just so u guys know i have tried more surface to smooth no success, polish less overall hook more snap so this is a last resort.

MIne is pin under bridge and I don't like the carry. I very seldom throw it. It seems to leave a lot of ten pins or nine pins cause it comes in late with too much angle or burns up for me with more surface. By the way I have it at like 1000 polished.

I have mine under bridge, with a low hole, and the ball is still very clean up front and extremely strong downlane. It's just the characteristic of the ball. I have mine at a 1000Grit no polish and the ball is fantastic on fresh medium to heavier mediums as long as the backends are fresh. Carry is great, it throws the pins around like nothing i've seen. I've polished it from different grits and and the ball is just too long on the fresh.

Try using it once the mids are starting to dry out so the ball gets into a little earlier roll.

I have my noize at 1000 oob and love it very much. Dont remeber if its pin up or down but sounds like ur using ball on wrong lane condtion. Ball oob at 1000 is very hard arcing. Meant for meduim -heavy oil. Unless ur really slow you shouldnt see any skid snap.  I would say if your hang 9pins ball is finishing too hard for you. Ball is driving in the backend. Ive had that problem and that just says time to change balls or speed up. Try getting ball more in the oil or swing on it a few boards it will come back

I actually love mine with pin up and boat load of polish, makes me slow down some, and that is a good thing for me. I'm always in the need for less speed

Agree with you on that one. Thats why i keep mine at 1000. I have too much speed and to much hand most of the time

Mine is pin in ring finger (roughly 4.5" from PAP) and it has a balance hole in a flare increasing location.  I keep it at roughly 2000 Abralon.

This ball needs head oil even with my speed dominating my rev rate slightly.

Carrydown doesn't seem to phase this ball as long as there is enough oil in the heads for it.

mine is 45 x 4 1/2 x 45, pin up, and 2k surface. ball gets down lane very easy. it has a nice roll off the spot.
i think with the layout you are talking about, that it should be smoother off the spot.

this was actually one of my fav balls when i played with C300. i drilled mine 1½ above my mid finger aka 6" from pap. but the cg 3" from my pap. (had a very long pin) i liked this alot. often used it on a flatter pattern or more challenging condition. actually played up 2-3 on a 44 feet pattern with great succes. on most patterns with arround medium oil i often played the track or maybe a pinch deeper but with a hook/set motion with a lot of forward roll. i actually liked it with a bit more surface, to make it start sooner to promote this hook/set. i think if you turn it alot it will continue too much which will creat those 9 pins and probberly 10 pins you see that often. my suggest to you is either move deeper. couple of boards should to, or take the surface dont 1 step to even the backend out. this NE coverstock is very smooth at a low grit
