Original Cudas had a pink label, pink pin, and the cover was one of the original Flexcel reactive covers. Super Cudas had yellow labels, yellow pin, and a beefed up version of Flexcel, Super Flex, which was much more aggressive. However, the cores are the same in the 4 balls and they still roll well on today's conditions, although for a medium volume pattern or a shorter pattern.
Super Cudas were a touch earlier and could handle a touch more oil. I really liked all 4 and still have 3 original solid Cudas today. Just used one that is plugged twice last week and shot well. Ball carries well and still hits well today, 17 years later.
