I have a Freeze, picked up a used Bedlam that I absolutely love, and tonight I got to throw thee ball: The Total Bedlam.

I don't understand all the love for the Mission because the Total Bedlam is an amazing piece of equipment, but I guess it all depends on what type of shot shape you are looking for with your eyes. Columbia was always known for midlane, but for me this ball just really up'd the game in terms of midlane. The ball really wasn't all that smooth, it reacts almost like a skid/flip ball in the middle of the pattern, but without over-reacting in the back once it made its jump. It provided for me the perfect hybrid reaction of what would happen if you could mix the best of Storm and Brunswick together.

I think I've pretty much cemented my move to Columbia equipment outside of a few gems I have in my bag from Brunswick and Storm.

Anyone else make the move? I have to admit I got to throw some of the new Track stuff as well and I was quite impressed. The only ball out of the bunch I wasn't to impressed with was the Mission, but it wasn't a bad ball just it didn't really match what I was looking for the ball to do. Perhaps I was expecting to much of it after all the hype.

Well MrPerfect I'm on the fence on what to drill up also. I have all Storm/Roto Grip Stuff and I'm switching this summer to something. I am headed to the 900 Global Line and Amf Line but when I was at the Lorain Regional last weekend there was a lot of people throwing the Mission it was like the ball of choice. So my opinion if it works don't fix it so looks like Ebonite International is your cup of tea and stick with it.

If I could start over I would go completely Columbia I am that impressed with the new line. I think the Track stuff is amazing as well, but I don't think they quite have the depth of an equipment line as Columbia does. I like what Storm did with the Invasion, but I just wish they'd put it in a weaker cover so Storm would have a high end piece that is rolly on heavy house patterns. Even if I change my Hy-Road isn't going any where, because outside of the V2 it's the most versatile ball I've ever thrown and always the first one out of the bag. I think that's actually what got my interest though is my experience with the Hy-Road. When I drilled up the Bedlam I got the exact same reaction as the Hy-Road, but a little bit sooner in the midlane.

Of course this all depends on what type of ball motion you are looking for, and due to my speed and revs I need something that gives me help in the mids to burn more energy off the ball. The new Brunswick stuff has matched up great with me, but the Columbia stuff fits my eye so well I just feel really comfortable throwing it.

Kind of a weird place to be, throw the ball that works great but you don't really like to watch go down the lane, or make the change to what seems to accomplish both.

I am pretty happy with my Total Bedlam. Right now, it's at 1k so it's hard to use anywhere. I have a 930T I going to drill out as an oiler and move the TB back to 4k so I can use it more. My Total flares around 7 inches. It has a 4 inch pin to pap and is pin down. Pretty unbelievable ball, especially at the price point.

Mr. Perfect, do yourself a favor and drill up a Momentum Swing if you can find one...That ball is absolutely amazing.

I drilled a Momentum Swing, a Loud Noize, and an older piece the Big Shot, which was the last ball the old Columbia made before the Ebonite buyout.

Of the 3, the Loud Noize is the least impressive so far...i think i just missed the drilling on this one. Columbia is definitely making some great stuff, as evidenced by the number of their balls being thrown in my area lately. Im seeing alot of loyal Storm and Brunswick folks trying C300...not to mention a local pro shop here in N.C. has a throw it before you buy it program with a number of new balls including the Pure Swing, Total Bedlam, as well as the Ebonite Mission and Storm Invasion.

You really cant go wrong with the new C300 stuff, they have a very well rounded arsenal right now.

I made the move also. I used to throw Storm and Hammer. I threw a Cool Noize I picked up cheap and liked the reaction. Then I bought a Sharp Noize, Freeze, and Pure Swing. Can't wait for the Burst. I still have the Shift, but don't throw it as much. Columbia seems to match up to my game the best.

I own the Bedlam and Freeze and was able to throw the Power Swing and Total Bedlam, but I was curious about the rest of the line mainly I had one question:

So is that patented Columbia mid-lane in all of the new balls since being purchased by Hopkinsville?

In my opinion, the Total Bedlam is one of the most underrated balls out there. With the Jigsaw Corner being released the same day and the Mission following less than a month after, not too many people focused on this awesome piece.

I find this ball to control the midlane very well and make a pretty strong motion down the lane. Never too sharp, never too much roll. I shot my first 800 with this ball, the first 3 games out of the box. I'm thoroughly impressed to say the least.

Keep your eyes out for the Burst and the releases around Bowl Expo. They're going to be awesome!

I own a Jigsaw and a Total Bedlam and I love my Total and will not get rid of it. I have since gotten a Freeze and threw it Friday afternoon and shot 227,217,225 so not bad just getting used to it. Now I'm waiting on the Burst to come out and I might get a Pure Swing and then I'll have my fall lineup. Anybody want to buy a jigsaw?

In the bag right now Total Bedlam and Pure Swing

Coming very soon the Burst and the Freeze. Without a doubt in my mind I feel the Columbia balls are the top of the line. I loved the Total Bedlam and then got the Pure Swing. Both are great pieces in their class. The TB is strong but very controllable. The Pure Swing is the best pearl ball I have thrown......ever. (My Black Widow Pearl is a close second). I still can''t get over the carry with the ball. It is a very under rated ball. I really do not see many of them out there, but their loss is my gain.
