full swing versus VG
« on: September 28, 2009, 02:28:26 PM »
I have a full swing coming and I wanted to see if anyone has tried it against a VG with the same drilling and surface.  I have a VG already so I will be able to compare it first hand soon but I would like to hear other opinions because of the difference in lane surfaces etc.

It's primarily going to be a tournament ball.

Thanks.

Much sooner midlane from the VG but more backend from the FS....total hook was very close. But since the VG wants to start moving so much sooner, it gives the appearance of having more overall. I prefer the fact that the FS is much cleaner through the fronts. When tested both were at 4000 and both were drilled 70x6"x35

There was a local demo day and our resident power player told me that the FG is smooth and reminded him of the black widow.  I never had one so I can't comment.  Did you ever use the BW?

For sure.....I had 4 different ones and so far 2 diff FS. It is VERY similar to the original BW. Ridiculously clean through the front of the lanewith very good response in mid and backend. It seams to be a bit stronger in terms of oil handling though

My friend agreed with the comment on the BW and added that it's like the BW sting on the backend.  Someone told him that this ball should have had a hammer label on it.
