Love that ball when it was out back in the old days...

But it rolled up early, so you may need to polish it up...

If I remember right,  it was about a 400 to 600 sanded cover...  ouch...

Not as for that core,  don't hit it with a drill bit...

Personally, I think a Ti-Boss Strawberry would be the way to go....

Best 3rd game ball I ever had, in the old days....

If its a Columbia Piranha/C(light blue with neon green/yellow logo)
I still have this beauty in 16 lbs.  It is a ceramicore and a basf reactive resin cover.  I think oob surface was 600 grit with a light polish. Only 16 ball I still own.  This was a gem in its day.  I threw 18 in a row with it like 12 years ago.  Was debating of putting it on here for sale or trade but hard to let go of.  You should be fine on a house shot.  I've never tried it on synthetics yet.  Good Luck!!!!!!!

I am not sure if you want to polish it or not. That depends on the reaction you are looking for. What ever you do don''t give up on it (Its a good ball), you might need change the surface a few times until you find that desire reaction.

I am still using 2 of the Columbia300 balls from that line today (Cuda/C and Stingray/C). I just took the Cuda/C to the proshop last week and had it sanded to 800. Ball works great for me on a typical league shot. I have a Big Shot that is sanded to 4000 Abralon. When that ball doesn''t quite make it back to the pocket I know to switch to my Cuda/C.

Additional thought: What I really like about the older equipment is they don''t over react like the newer stuff (Just an observation from my experience). My moves on league night with this ball is less then when I use my new bowling balls.
