Good News Columbia!!!
« on: September 14, 2005, 05:41:45 PM »
Well with all the bad talk about the EPX-T1, I figured I better spred some good news about a great ball, the U-Turn Pearl.

This ball has become my go-to ball on league conditions and any Regional condition where I am forced to play deep inside.

After shooting 867 with it 3 weeks ago, I shot 300-803 tonight in league and I'm thinking of drilling another one up.

I still am  pleased with my EPX-T1 for oil, but my U-Turn has exceeded all expectations in it's versatility and its carry.

Jon: How did you drill your U-Turn Pearl? I am getting one Monday.
I am thinking about laying it out 4 x 3. What do you think?

I've been using my Uturn pearl a lot lately too.  I like the reaction of it, a sort of skid then a hard turn rather than so much of a "flip."  Doesn't seem as squirelly as some of the skid/flip balls I've used.

Dude nice shooting Jon. I'm also curious about the layout. A buddy of mine is interested in the U-Turn pearl and Particle. Thanks!

Here's a pic of the layout. It's about 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 with a hole on my pap.

We have been selling a bunch of these to alot of our league bowlers here too.
THey match up great on our league patterns for a large variety of bowlers.
The particles are very smooth and dont seem to burn up early!
The Pearls are easy through the fronts with nice movement on the back.
The guys drilling them arent the heaviest handed players either so they look very versatile.

Thanks for the picture and the layout Jon.

I have a Detour drilled exactly like your U-Turn.

It works great.
