Haus machine
« on: May 17, 2009, 03:00:56 PM »
I am refurbishing an older haus machine that did not have an oscillator, but ordered the the retro fit kit, does anyone know if the oscillator motor is to run all the time or do I have the wires from the motor hooked up wrong?

tHE MOTOR RUNS THE WHOLE TIME THAT THE SWITCH IS ON BUT HAS SOMETHING LIKE A CAM THAT RAISES THE CENTER PIECE EVERY SO OFTEN TO SPIN THE BALL.

I'm sorry if I didn't explain myself right, but what I meant was should the oscillator motor be running while the actual haus machine is not running? All the wire hook ups I have tried, only when the oscillator motor is running all the time does the oscillator work correctly, but I don't think this is correct. I will probably call Haus in the morning.

It will only run when the Haus machine is running.  We used to have the kit on our Haus until we bought another Haus.  The first Haus is still running great in another pro shop.  The kit actually pulls back one of the wheels for a second which allows the ball to spin in a different direction.  Hope this helps.
